Hello, and Welcome!
My name is Katie Armstrong. I am a alumna from Ball State University with a TCOM Digital Production: Video major and a Art Histoty minor. I have always had a passion for photography and videography, especially in the subject of nature and it's wildlife.
I have worked on many projects that focus on the beauty and wonders of the outdoors. I was a member of the Ball State TCOM group known as Indiana Outdoors, where we go out and film outdoor activities, groups, events, etc., that are located right in our backyard. I have a passion for art history and creating works of art.
I traveled to Ireland and England for an immersive project with Ball State, where I was the Producer for the short film "Evergreen" and Story Creator for "Ash". Both of these films will be released towards the end of the year.
I was also the Producer for the Ball State University 21st Century Research TV Commercial. The commercial has won the American Advertising Award: 2016 Gold Addy Student, first place in the Broadcast Education Association's "Festival of Media", and the Accolade Global Film: Awards of Merit - Commerical/Information and Direction.
My goal is to one day create documentaries focusing on the beauty of nature and wildlife or the history of art.
